When rain stops play before it even starts you can always take out the oul' camera phone and while away the hours......even Olive's Room had only a couple of imbibers. Here's hoping next Wednesday

I love those boules training contraptions pictured in the link!. In golf there are driving ranges and I see no reason why boules should not have equivalents. Personally, I would like to be able to improve my meagre skills in both "pointing" and "shooting" - especially the latter. I often thought of asking around about where I could get "shooting" lessons in Dublin but am afraid this might be misunderstood, possibly leading to a visit from the Gardai - or worse!
