227th Post

Today was, by all accounts, a beautiful day.  Eighteen played on the final day of Competition C 2019.
As you can see from the table below, by calculating the best 6/9 scores for the period, Richie on 236 points narrowly pipped Nigel by a margin of  just three.

Congratulations to Richie, in the winner's enclosure, once again.

Hopefully Shay will be there next week to present the trophy to him and that there is photographic evidence for the blog.

Mike and Shay were joint third on 225 and Catherine was the highest ranked lady in 5th position.

I see that Judy played today who, along with Gerry, is aware that if we have a full complement of players any Wednesday they will have to step aside.

Also, the new Monday session, beginning next Monday 23rd is to cater for new players and any of the Wednesday Group who'd like extra play.  It will start at 10 and finish at Noon.  We will try to get a set of equipment for both days.

Photos from today, kindly sent on by Eilish and Mike.

It's just like 'tickling salmon'....

Love blossoms where there's honey...

I turn my back for one second n you're up to your aul tricks...

If David Beckham is 'Golden Balls' where does that leave Mike.....

Gerry checking if Kerry scored at the Canal End....

Catherine launching another missile with Maureen oblivious  in sartorial splendour...

You'd need Specsavers to work out what's happening here....

Judy.... 'just loving it'....

Oooops... 😜

The following a a few photos from the town of Albias, north of Toulouse, with their Boulodrome picturesquely situated alongside the River Aveyron.
