Morning all. Mike kindly sent on the score sheet for Day 1 of Competition D 2019.
Fifteen brave souls faced the changing conditions playing in four, five and six person combinations.
Where possible we'll play in fours but numbers playing will dictate formation and after that its the luck of the draw with the cards.
I'm not sure how many played on Monday but by accounts there are two new players. If anyone has spare boules they want to be rid of the Monday group might be interested. Check with Yvonne.
In the absence of photos from St Anne's here's a few of the development in Bayside by Fingal Co.Co. of a boules facility, based on the St Anne's Boules area for the benefit of the community in Bayside, Alden Verbena. Too often the older folk had been forgotten in park facility deployment in the past. We're past going on the swings or 'swinging' so to speak!!! Perhaps in the near future we might have a 'Friendly'!!!! Anything that promotes activity and sociability is a welcome weapon in the battle against isolation.
