Maeve has moved into a slight lead on 74, which is great scoring, over a close, chasing group including Nigel, Sheila,Shay and John.
Today Richie had a perfect 52 despite being in a group of five and changing partners after each game.
While we all prefer to play three boules each I can attest to playing with a partner today against three others with two boules each and losing 13 / 1 !!!!
We had nineteen playing today on a nice calm morning.
Olive's Room with the kind agreement of Diane set aside four tables with 'Reserved' signs for our noon-time coffee. This was highly appreciated as a fortnight ago there were no free tables available and this arrangement allows us to have a convivial chat after boules. Hopefully we can have a similar arrangement indoor for the winter sessions.
Having had a discrepancy in the 3 v 2 group arrangements notified to us by Tom S and Pat F we will revisit the cards and adapt them to improve the chances of playing 3 boules at least once in that format.
Almost all players have paid the 5 Euro maintenance fee.
